Missing Student | Estudiante desaparecido
Dear Kelvyn Park Families,
The safety of your children is always our top priority, which is why we must inform you of an incident involving one of our students. On Tuesday, one of our students was reported missing. This has been reported in the news and we wanted to make sure you are aware that we have been coordinating with the Chicago Police Department (CPD) and the CPS Office of Safety and Security, and I’m thankful for their rapid response and support. The CPS Crisis Team is currently on site and providing support to our students and staff.
If you have any information or questions about this, please contact the school as soon as possible. Please remind your child that if they ever feel uncomfortable or threatened in any way, they should notify a trusted adult immediately or if away from school, go to the nearest business or populated area and call for help.
