Incident – 4/30
Dear Kelvyn Park Parents and Guardians,
Safety is always my top priority, which is why I am writing to notify you of an incident that occurred at our school. Earlier today, there was a physical altercation involving members of our school community. School staff responded to help de-escalate the altercation, and we also notified the CPS Office of Safety and Security for additional support. While I cannot provide further details for privacy reasons, I can share that we are responding to this matter in accordance with CPS policies.
Please know that we take incidents like this extremely seriously to ensure the safety of our school community. If your child has voiced any fears or concerns to you about this situation, please let us know so we can ensure their social-emotional needs are met. La seguridad es siempre mi principal prioridad, por eso le escribo para notificarle sobre un incidente que ocurrió en nuestra escuela. Hoy temprano, hubo un altercado físico que involucró a miembros de nuestra comunidad escolar. El personal de la escuela respondió para ayudar a calmar el altercado y también notificamos a la Oficina de Seguridad de CPS para obtener apoyo adicional. Si bien no puedo brindar más detalles por razones de privacidad, puedo informar que estamos respondiendo a este asunto de acuerdo con las políticas de CPS.
