Back to School Safety | Seguridad de regreso a la escuela

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope that these first few days of the new school year have gone well for you and your family. Our dedication to health and safety continues to be our top priority. Staying safe in the classroom requires all of us to work together. Helping students to understand the importance and power behind their actions is vital to keeping everyone healthy.

Here are a few creative ways to stress three vital protocols with your children.

  • Masks – Just like superheroes, we wear masks to protect others. A cloth face-covering keeps others safe from any germs we might be carrying.
  • Washing hands – Washing with soap and warm water is the best way to stop the COVID virus. Play a fun song as a reminder for your children to wash their hands thoroughly.
  • Social Distancing – Staying safe means staying three feet apart. While that means no hugs, high fives, or handshakes, it’s also an opportunity to come up with other creative ways to greet and celebrate with people.

If you have any questions regarding health or safety, contact the Office of Student Health and Wellness at 773-553-5437 or [email protected].

Sincerely,

Keith W. Adams, Ed.D., Principal

Estimados padres y tutores:

Sinceremente,

Keith W. Adams, Ed.D., Director
