Winter Connection
Dear Kelvyn Park Parents and Students,
Next week, Kelvyn Park will host Winter Connection. The purpose of these enrichment activities is to build relationships & community. It is not mandatory and it does not count as instruction. Given our in-building staff limitations, we are offering this opportunity to different grade levels depending on the day.
Winter Connection starts on Monday, January 10th from 8:30am until 1pm and will be available as an option to the groups of students below until an agreement is reached between CPS leadership and CTU.
The groups of students invited are:
- Monday & Tuesday (January 10, 11) –> 7th & 8th Graders only
- Wednesday (January 12) –> 11th & 12th Graders only
- Thursday & Friday (January 13,14) –> 9th & 10th Graders only

Estimados padres y estudiantes de KPH,
La próxima semana, Kelvyn Park llevará a cabo unas actividades de “Winter Connection.” El propósito de estas actividades de enriquecimiento es construir relaciones y comunidad. No es obligatorio y no cuenta como instrucción. Dadas las limitaciones de nuestro personal en el edificio, estamos ofreciendo esta oportunidad a los estudiantes según sus niveles de grado y según el día.
“Winter Connection” comienza el lunes 10 de enero, y empieza a las 8:30 am hasta la 1 pm, todos los días hasta que se llegue a un acuerdo entre la dirección de CPS y CTU.
Los grupos de alumnos invitados son:
- Lunes y Martes (Enero 10, 11) –> Solo estudiantes de 7° (séptimo) y 8° (octavo) grado
- Miércoles (Enero 12) –> Grados 11 y 12 solamente
- Jueves y Viernes (Enero 13, 14) –> 9° (noveno) y 10° (décimo) grado solamente
