School Threat, 11/16 | Amenaza escolar el 16/11
Dear Kelvyn Park Students, Parents, and Guardians,
I am reaching out to inform you of another situation involving our school. This afternoon, our main office received a phone call with a message resembling a potential threat to our school. We take all potential threats extremely seriously and immediately notified the CPS Office of Safety and Security and the Chicago Police Department for support. They investigated this matter and determined the threat to be non-credible. There is no safety threat to our school community, and all of our students and staff members are safe.
As a reminder, if you are ever made aware of a safety concern or a potential threat to our school, I ask that you please notify us immediately so that we can ensure it is appropriately investigated.
