Incident at the School on 12/8 | Incidente en la escuela el 8/12

Dear Kelvyn Park Parents and Guardians,

We always want to keep you updated on any matters concerning our school. Yesterday, a member of our staff overheard a member of our school community making a threat against our school. Once we became aware, we engaged both the Chicago Police Department and the Chicago Public Schools Office of Safety and Security. We are working with them on investigating this matter. Out of an abundance of caution, we have requested special attention for additional presence today, 12/9.

Please know that we take these matters very seriously and that we will always investigate any situations that could be a potential threat to our school. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact the school directly.

Siempre queremos mantenerlo informado sobre cualquier asunto relacionado con nuestra escuela.
